Chanel Jacket is So Like the 60′s Black Movement!

Karl Lagerfeld says in his own words that a Chanel jacket is so great it has caused him a loss of words. Or better yet the jacket is so powerful it can only be defined by borrowing from the black movement. At the Chanel’s Little Black Jacket exhibit in Paris the Kaiser of the fashion world said:

This is like our jean, our T-shirt…Black is a very becoming color on most people, always elegant,” he said, winking behind his velvety black sunglasses. “Black is beautiful, as they used to say in America.”

Monsieur Langerfeld has always been a bit of a genius and we all know genius is rarely without some infusion of cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs! Anyhow, there was no offense taken in comparing it to something positive as the 60′s Black Movement. It was just frustrating that a smart man like Lagerfeld couldn’t come up with a more original way to describe his own work of art!

Chanel Jacket is So Like the 60′s Black Movement! Not! One was a pure struggle the other is pure luxury. Kaiser please! Let’s just start talking from the heart and expressing our true feelings instead instead of speaking fluff!

There is no doubt there is such a powerful story behind the creation of the iconic brand, Chanel. It is both prestigious and luxury. So the genius, Karl, got behind this photo exhibit in Paris and worked with many celebs. He also included some folks within the industry as his subjects. The whole exhibition worked to portray the image of Chanel as a brand but in reference to his cricket inducing comments: silence is golden.
