Celebrity WTF Moment: Aretha Franklin Disrespecting Herself

Aretha Franklin looks a hot mess with her wig a mile high off her head. The color of the wig, the shape and texture….a hot mess! I really hope girlfriend was not in wind city Chicago because that thing would had some wings of it’s own.  She really showed some D-I-S-R-E-S-P-E-C-T to herself by appearing in public by what appears to be a rat that was abducted from some cellar and propped on her head.  Aretha Franklin coupled that look with some loose clothing that makes her look sloppy and just plainly bag lady.

When you allow yourself to “let go” you really are just saying F-you to your body and mind. Look at the way that rat’s nest  on her head looks! Does it look like she could even care for a 2 second glance at the mirror? You are therefore disrespecting yourself and your ability to feel positive about your own look and someone else. Look at it this way, when you look and feel great, you are less likely to put someone else down because you are at your high. When you look sloppy you feel sloppy so you are more likely to throw hateful comments at someone who you think looks better than you do. It’s all about self-confidence!

Really Aretha? After all these years you couldn’t even afford a custom-unit wig?  That is a shame and no one is going to R-E-S-P-E-C-T  you if you can’t even give yourself the same audacity!  Somebody please pass Aretha’s digits to Beyonce’s weave-ologist and lace-front specialist!
